Easy Baked Apples

Ingredients
  • 6 firm Granny Smith apples core removed leaving a well at the bottom
  • 3 tsp dark monk fruit sweetener or stevia
  • ¼ cup finely chopped nuts(walnuts, pecans)
  • 2 Tbsp dark or light raisins.
  • 1 Tbsp light olive oil
  • Cinnamon to sprinkle on top
Preparation
  1. Arrange the cored apples in an Aluminum tray well side up
  2. Pour 1 cup of water into the pan with the apples.
  3. In a small bowl mix the monk fruit, the chopped nuts and the raisins.
  4. Put about 1 tsp of the sweetener and nut mix in each cored apple.
  5. Brush each apple with olive oil and Sprinkle with cinnamon
  6. Bake in 350 degrees preheated oven for about 30 minutes until apples are golden brown but firm

Ready in 45 minutes
