Ingredients
- 6 firm Granny Smith apples core removed leaving a well at the bottom
- 3 tsp dark monk fruit sweetener or stevia
- ¼ cup finely chopped nuts(walnuts, pecans)
- 2 Tbsp dark or light raisins.
- 1 Tbsp light olive oil
- Cinnamon to sprinkle on top
Preparation
- Arrange the cored apples in an Aluminum tray well side up
- Pour 1 cup of water into the pan with the apples.
- In a small bowl mix the monk fruit, the chopped nuts and the raisins.
- Put about 1 tsp of the sweetener and nut mix in each cored apple.
- Brush each apple with olive oil and Sprinkle with cinnamon
- Bake in 350 degrees preheated oven for about 30 minutes until apples are golden brown but firm
Ready in 45 minutes
